The Panasonic Wire Booster is a wire feeding motor that wasdeveloped to solve wire feeding problems for complicated tasks. Its drive rollers are separated from the permanent running motor by a magnetic clutch. Only if the wire is pulled by the main motor of the robot, the magnetic clutch comes into action and wire feeding is supported actively. Because of this functional principle there is no need to connect or synchronize the wire booster to the main motor of the robot. Problematic wire feeding can be solved quickly and without complex installation.
